On at approximately 4:00 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 600 block of south Eton Street on a report of damage to a vehicle. On at approximately 3:00 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the intersection of Cole and Torry to investigate a stop sign that had been spray painted with graffiti. She was arrested and issued a citation for disturbing the peace, and released. Her friend, a 30-year-old Dearborn resident, became increasingly irate and verbally and physically aggressive, pushing an officer. The officers approached the subjects and observed that a 27-year-old Dearborn Heights resident was highly intoxicated. Old Woodward, one holding the other upright. On at approximately 2:00 a.m., patrol officers observed two females sitting on a bench in the 200 block of S. Sobriety evaluations were completed and he was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated. The driver admitted smoking it while parked in the car immediately before driving and showed officers a pipe and bag of marijuana in the vehicle’s console. Upon making contact with the driver, a 22-year-old male from Commerce Township, the officer identified signs that the driver was under the influence of marijuana. ![]() On at approximately 9:00 p.m., an officer on patrol observed a vehicle turn on to northbound Woodward near Oak Street without yielding to oncoming traffic and initiated a traffic stop. She was arrested and charged with malicious destruction of property. The suspect, a 35-year-old female from Troy, appeared intoxicated, and refused to answer officers’ questions. ![]() ![]() Officers observed damage to the chair and plexiglass consistent with being struck by an object. On at approximately 7:00 a.m., officers were dispatched to the front lobby of the Birmingham Police Department for an individual hitting the plexiglass barrier with a chair.
